Teaching Inclusive Comprehensive, Sexual Education in all Classrooms 8:30-11:30
Teachers often feel underprepared to teach sexual health yet there are required outcomes from K–12 in the BC curriculum. This workshop will help you to define what is missing from traditional programs and how to include it in your teaching as well as give you the resources you need to teach sexual health at any level.
Youth Relationships in a Sexualized World 12:15-2:30
This workshop reveals many of the sexualized influences from media and culture on youth relationships. Teachers are provided with options to raise our youth’s awareness around these negative influences in order to seek healthier, more respectful relationships.
